A maker of a collaboration tool that gives access to Microsoft software from mobile devices is now on the Canadian government’s list of approved suppliers.
Harmon.ie said this week it won a Software Licencing Supply Arrangement (SLSA) by Ottawa, allowing federal app developers the choice of buying its solution through Orangutech, an Ottawa Microsoft partner and the sole provider of the software under the SLSA.
The SLSA gives federal agencies a list of approved technologies in a variety of software and shared systems categories so they don’t have to go through a lengthy procurement process..
Harmon.ie lets users securely access Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Yammer on approved BlackBerry, iOS and Android mobile devices.
