Tied at Number 1 spot were Meru Networks and Aruba Networks, both based in Sunnyvale, Calif. ABI cited Meru for the ability of its products to handle dense wireless environments without interference, while Aruba’s architecture permits centralized or hybrid operation, ensuring no single controller becomes a choke point.

Motorola of Schaumberg, Ill. Gets honourable mention for its 802.11n products, which ABI says go “well beyond the standard” of reducing latency in transmitting video content.
