Computer Science at U of T is known for its work in neural networks, computer graphics, machine learning, theory, human-computer interaction (HCI), scientific computation, computer performance evaluation, and more. Our faculty's innovative approaches and paradigms have had widespread international impact.

We collaborate with more than 20 distinct units at U of T, solving problems through interdisciplinary inquiry, from robotics and computer vision, to computer animation, and bioinformatics.

Our research is supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS), Communications and Information Technology Ontario (CITO) and Bell University Laboratories (BUL), and additional federal and provincial governments sources and corporations.
