Gansha Wu is Director of Intel Labs China. Before he took this role, he was Principal Engineer and led the big data research, primarily focused on in-memory analytics and data monetization. Gansha Wu joined Intel in 2000. He has held a number of technical and managerial positions at Programming Systems Lab and Embedded Software Lab, where he participated in or led research projects in managed runtime, XScale micro-architecture, many-core architecture, data parallel programming and high-productivity embedded device driver tools. Gansha became a Principal Engineer in 2011, and co-led Intel’s Technology Strategic Long Range Planning (TSLRP) on big data in the same year. During his years at Intel, he has published more than 10 research papers, held 22 issued US patents (including 10+ international patents) and 14 pending ones.
