David has a BSc in Computer Science as a software engineering specialist, and is now culminating his PhD thesis in the Institute of Medical Sciences at University of Toronto. His research focuses on gaining new insight into brain chronic pain neurophysiology and pushing the boundaries of diffusion MRI tractography by pushing toward large populations and clinical deployment. Thus, he is familiar with high dimensional data, and new ways of applying insights from the brain into deep learning algorithms for automation and prediction with commercial applications. In his spare time, his life revolves around neuroscience, computer science, and martial arts. He develops Android apps, obsessing over 3D printers and day dreaming about horse-back Asiatic archery.
