ITWC (IT World Canada) popular audio podcast HashTag Trending is now available as a daily video newscast on YouTube. The new daily program features the top technology stories each day.
Tech News Day shares content with ITWC’s hit technology news podcast Hashtag Trending with a new expanded content for Hashtag Trending and a slightly longer format to include more of the top tech news stories.
The new YouTube show is named after ITWC’s US publication, Tech News Day, a curated summary of the technology stories in an short easy to read format. It is available as a web site at www.technewsday.com and as a daily newsletter.
Hashtag Trending was launched in 2017 and has over 2 million unique downloads and a daily audience making it one of the top 5 per cent of podcasts in North America. The show averages 1,500 to 2,000 or more downloads a day.
In 2023, ITWC added a weekend interview program which also has grown its own large following and has featured a wide range of of newsmakers from across North America.
The show is hosted by ITWC CIO Jim Love. Jim recently won a gold medal in the Canadian Online Publishing Awards for one of his podcast interview shows.
