Nominate a Deserving Non-Profit

Do you know a non-profit that could benefit from a converged infrastructure solution? Nutanix is running a “Web-Scale Wish” datacenter makeover contest for non-profits, with the winning entries receiving web-scale datacenter equipment and services valued at $500,000.

Anyone can nominate organizations that they feel would benefit from a datacenter makeover by November 21st.

To be entered into Web-Scale Wish, organizations must:

Why Converged Infrastructures?
Many of today’s data centres consist of a multitude of servers, storage and networking equipment combined with numerous management tools and operational processes, resulting in complexity and escalating costs. Converged infrastructures provide for scalability, efficiencies, speed of deployment, simplified management, a significantly reduced footprint by as much as 90 per cent, and a 40 to 60 per cent lower total cost of ownership.

Converged infrastructure solutions built with web-scale principles and technologies facilitate virtualization, end-to-end service management and clear lines of sight into issues so that applications are kept up and running around the clock. Used along with private clouds, they can also fully automate provisioning and workload management in hours instead of days and in some cases weeks. What’s more, they free up IT resources, making them available for other more innovative projects.
