KVM switch and server management hardware manufacturer StarTech.com’s new Conyx 16-port Enhanced Console Server is now available, the London, Ont.-based company recently announced.
The device gives consolidated access and control of all the localand extended networks’ connected serial consoles on UNIX, Linux, andSolaris servers; routers; switches; PBXes; telecommunications equipmentand power distribution units.
Other features of the new product include a DHCP client, offlinedata logging, out-of-band access, port triggers, and SSH tunneledserial bridging.
