(HP) and Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle Corp., WebBasis Inc. of Bakersfield, Calif. launched Epic, a voice over IP (VoIP) technology dedicated to bridging the gap between circuit-switched voice networks and next-generation VoIP.
