Web services vendor extends data synchronization for Palm OS

Mississauga, Ont.-based Hostopia.com Inc. announced Thursday the release of a wireless mobility data synchronization application, SyncJe for Palm OS.

The Palm OS client, developed by Hostopia’s wireless mobility technology unit Nexthaus, extends the product line of SyncSuite apps that already support BlackBerry, iPhone, Outlook, Outlook Express, and Lotus Notes.

With the app, centrally stored data Personal Information Management (PIM) data can be exchanged wirelessly, and users can “sync” contacts, calendars, notes and tasks independent of wires and device cradles.

Compatible with any SyncML server, SyncJe is bundled with one year of maintenance and support.
