Web 2.0 still the coolest kid in school

Cisco released last week a study on enterprise use of video and Web 2.0 technologies that found that the video boom with consumers has translated into a growing number of businesses eager to use video to help grow their businesses, reach new customers, and increase employee and eco-friendly collaboration.

More than half of the 850 corporate IT staffers surveyed said that they were using video and Web 2.0 technologies. An additional 25 per cent said that they were exploring using these tools.

Nearly a third of respondents cited fulfilling the demand for innovative products as the main reason for investing in blogs, wikis, telepresence, and Web conferencing.
