The company says it can link to almost any enterprise data source including data warehouses and business intelligence applications to track performance.

For example, it said a finance executive can see how actual spend is tracking to budget, or a sales leader can spot a team’s current status towards attaining a quarterly revenue goal.

“Hundreds, if not thousands, of reports and dashboards get created for employees, yet a majority of employees don’t look at them because it takes too much time,” Tibco vice-president Patrick Husting said in a staement. “In every industry — such as retail, marketing, sales, financial, energy, and manufacturing, for example — business users value the ability to quickly glance at key metrics to understand the current state of their business. Mobile Business Intelligence is equipping today’s workforce with critical business information, at the right time, so that they can make more informed decisions more quickly.”

The app has clients for the following operating systems: For tablets Apple iOS 6.1 and up, Android 4.0 and up and Windows 8.0 and up. For smart phones the same OS versions for Apple and Android, and Windows Phone 7.1 There is no BlackBerry client.
