Learn how to turn digital transformation promise into results

Learn how to turn digital transformation promise into results
In 2020 we heard a lot of talk about digital transformation. But too often it was just talk – a 2018 McKinsey survey found that while 85 per cent of respondents wanted their business to be digital, less than 20 per cent said they actually were. A second McKinsey study from 2019 found that companies across all sectors were digitized up to only one-quarter of their potential.

When the pandemic hit, business leaders rose to the challenge, working in harmony with IT groups to turn the crisis into an opportunity. This made a compelling case for all companies to shift their digital transformation plans into a higher gear.

In 2022 many enterprises feel they cannot return to the cautious and “by small increments” mindset of old when it comes to technology. They need to embrace and scale up the changes they were forced to make quickly during the pandemic.

The good news is that many enterprises took this challenge in hand. Instead of spending time and energy worrying about what might happen, or doing nothing in the hopes it would all go away, they used the crisis to grow and innovate.

Businesses that accelerate their efforts with speed and intelligence are deriving huge benefits in terms of productivity, product or service quality, and customer satisfaction.

You may already be planning how your company can meet these challenges and reap the rewards. You may be struggling to generate new ideas.
