Toronto-based transaction software vendor Hosted Data Transaction Solutions will be splashing out $3-million for the British point-of-sale solution company Biz-Pro, it announced today.
The transaction is expected to close on January 1, 2008.
It required no financing, and follows in the wake of the company’s other recent acquisitions, including Howell Data Systems QSR and Sabrepoint.
Hosted Data Transaction Solutions president and CEO Paul Howell said that the buy-out will allow the company to expand its business control systems, business intelligence tools and consumer payment systems portfolio.
Biz-Pro employees Jim Jearvis (president) and Chris Jearvis (vice-president of operations) will continue to manage the Biz-Pro operation in the future.
