You can buy an electric DeLorean in 2013

If Doc Brown were real, I think this would please him a lot. While you won't be able to power the car that Back to the Future made famous with only common street trash – or even Libyan plutoniam – you will be able to run it on electricity.

DMC's PR disaster, the DeLorean, will be rereleased in 2013 as a new electricity-powered car.

The only problem is that owning a DeLorean will only be slightly more affordable than before. While you will be able to buy one from a dealer, it will cost you US$95,000 to wheel it off the lot.

So, what do you get for your nearly $100k? About 161 kilometeres on a single charge and a top speed of 201 KPH.
