What if a TPM no longer works?

On his blog about copyright reform, University of Ottawa Law professor Michael Geist says Bill C-61 should allow people to circumvent technological measures that are no longer supported or no longer work.

Geist writes: “Given the frequent changes in technology, it is a question of when, not if, technologies become obsolete.”

In his 23rd entry in the series titled “61 reforms to C-61, Geist says the law “should not impair consumers and libraries.”
