CDN and ComputerWorld Canada on location with Citrix Systems

Last week virtualization software vendor Citrix Systems (NASDAQ: CTXS) held its 2011 media briefing at its offices in Santa Clara, Calif. in the heart of Silicon Valley. Executives from the company outlined the company's go to market in a number of areas, and outlined the opportunity the vendor sees around desktop virtualization. With employees looking to work from an every expanding array of endpoint devices, from tablets to smartphones to laptops, Citrix sees desktop virtualization as the answer to the IT management headache of managing the work-anywhere worker.
 
CDN assistant editor Jeff Jedras and ComputerWorld Canada staff writer Rafael Ruffolo were on hand in Santa Clara for the event, and when it wrapped-up they filed this video report with their thoughts and analysis on the Citrix strategy, and what it means for IT managers and channel partners.
