Yosemite TapeWare

According to Fresno, Ca.-based Yosemite Technologies its Disaster Recovery Option for TapeWare 6.2 Backup software, turns file recovery into a simple process. The administrator can implement Disaster Recovery in two ways: initiating the recovery process from a set of floppy disks or ISO files burned on a CD, or through HP’s One Button Disaster Recovery (OBDR) on HP’s DAT drives. An administrator presses the button on the OBDR-compatible drive during boot-up, allowing the server to boot from the tape drive to start disaster recovery. The system will restore itself to the last full backup configuration. The software supports Windows 9.x/NT, Netware 5.0 and below and Red Hat Linux 5.2/6.x, and allows the transfer of data to and from multiple backup devices in a single backup or restore across combinations of local buses and/or network connections from a single administration point. Pricing depends on the additions needed. Yosemite can be contacted at http://www.tapeware.com.
