Richmond, B.C.’s Soft Tracks Enterprises and Halifax-based e-plicity recently announced an alliance to provide wireless payment acceptance solutions to North American enterprises. According to the companies, the agreement will enable e-plicity to connect their wireless payment acceptance solution to the Skypay network, developed by Soft Tracks and operated by Bell Mobility and SaskTel. The companies said that ultimately connecting to the Skypay architecture will enable e-plicity’s customers to facilitate the authorization of credit card transactions on any wireless device through Skypay payment application servers in Canada and the U.S. to participating financial institutions.
