Sybase Inc. and BearingPoint Inc., formerly KPMG Consulting Inc., have announced an alliance to provide enterprise integration offerings, initially for CRM and healthcare.
The two companies already have partnered on systems for compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Sybase’s HIPAA Repository, EDI Server, and HIPAA Accelerator will be used in the solutions along with BearingPoint implementation technologies.
The CRM strategy from the two companies will involve implementation of PeopleSoft 8.8 CRM on the Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5 database and Sybase EAI technology. BearingPoint, through its R2i
