Bell Aliant and SolutionInc Technologies Ltd. have announced today they will work together on a turnkey solution to manage and support Aliant Hotspots.
During the four-year contract, the Halifax-based Internet and centralized hotspot connectivity technology provider will provide the technology system to register and bill users at Aliant Hotspots, assist with service setup at the venues, and manage the service for Aliant.
The Wi-Fi hotspot market is expected to grow by 25 per cent in 2007 alone, resulting in 179,500 hotspots globally, according to ABI Research.
