Pure Technologies Inc., a Calgary-based research and development firm, has promoted Mark Holley to the position of president.
Holley, who had been a vice-president in charge of the companies U.S. operations, will be responsible for generating business in eastern Canada, the U.S. and Latin America.
Pure, which develops products to inspect and monitor critical infrastructure, manufactures Sound Print, which uses acoustics to monitor buildings, bridges and other structures. It also makes SoundPrint AGO, a fibre-optic distributed acoustic sensing system that monitors pipelines.
Pure’s SmartBall detects leaks in water and hydrocarbon pipelines while P-Wave is an electromagnetic inspection technology that evaluate the condition of pre-stressed cylinder pipelines. The company says P-Wave can also locate and quantify wire breaks along individual pipe sections.
