Trimm Technologies has launched the UT4R, a RAID storage solution for PowerMAC systems, Windows and Unix-based workstations.
This solution integrates the Chaparral G series controller and is a high performance, scalable RAID sub-system.
This new addition to the Storage Centrimm 2000 family is designed for small work groups, video editing, CAD, 3D graphics and pre-press applications. Connecting to many open OS platforms or platforms via an LVD connection, the UT4R supports RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 4, and 5.
This product accommodates 7,200 and 10,000rpm disk drives and provides hot swap disk canisters. Matching expansion options can be added as user needs grow.
The four disk canisters are designed for SCA80 LVD disk drives and are hot pluggable.
