CITO TechTalk on Challenges in Wireless Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Communications and Information Technology Ontario’s one-day session will explore challenges in wireless ad hoc networks, including those associated with mobile networks that can be set up anywhere and anytime, outside the Internet or another pre-existing network infrastructure. Topics will include how the mobile terminals must cooperatively carry out the routing function, route maintenance due to nodal mobility, and MAC problems resulting from the absence of a centralized authority.
