New digital imaging won

The Israel-based orthopedic preoperative planning software vendor Orthocrat announced today the unveiling of its new Orthoflow product at SIIM 2008.

Orthoflow is a management tool that allows orthopedic surgeons to distribute digital patient images to clinic rooms, reducing time spent and administrative hiccups.

The product is integrated with major PACS, and has security and privacy features built in.

The embedded HID reader locks the computer screen, making sure that no-one steals a peek at the sensitive medical information, and the automatic image display means that the doctor doesn’t disturb the patient by scrolling through reams of other potentially disturbing medical images.
