McGuinty supports innovation with $150k

The McGuinty government is hoping that an additional $150,000 in support of local emerging companies in the Waterloo, Ont., region will help create “jobs of the future”.

The money will go to the Waterloo Accelerator Centre, a local resource for entrepreneurs seeking to take their ideas to market.

Investing in job creation through regional innovation is one strategy the government is taking to strengthen the economy.
