Low-tech campaigning

U.S politicians aren’t looking at the Web as a critical campaign tool in this year’s election race, according to a recent report from Washington-based Bivings Group. It found that less than 30 per cent of campaign committees for incumbent U.S. senators and representatives have built functional Web sites specifically for the 2002 House and Senate elections. Forty-two per cent have no Web presence whatsoever.
