In Mr. Woods’ opinion ( “‘Engineer’ far from a protected name”, April 5, page 12), “Engineer” is not a protected name. In fact, in the province of Ontario, where Mr. Woods conducts business, the title ‘Engineer’ and the term ‘Professional Engineer’ are protected by the Professional Engineers Act.
