David Carey’s article on NOVA Chemicals’ ERP implementation put me in mind of the first IT project I worked on in Canada. It was already into its fifth year of development when I arrived. As a systems and communications programmer, I wasn’t privy to all the project details, but legend has it that at times, there had been as many as 400 people directly involved.
