Fibre-optic equipment communications maker JDS Uniphase Corporation announced Tuesday the retirement of Charles Abbe, its president and chief operating officer of the company’s WDM (wave divisional multiplexing), switching and thin film business group.
The company also announced the appointment of Gregory Dougherty as executive vice-president and chief operating officer of JDS Uniphase.
