In Conversation: Dan Mathieson

The city of Stratford, Ont., population 32,000, was named one of the world’s smartest cities in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by the Intelligent Community Forum, a New York-based think-tank promoting the use of broadband internet access for economic and community development, and is in the running again for 2013.

Mayor Dan Mathieson discusses what it mean to be a smart city, how technology is embedded in city infrastructure, and why Ontario’s technology triangle is actually a rectangle in this two-part video interview with IT World Canada chief content officer Dave Webb
