I feel like I'm seeing more and more of these kinds of commercials where crude graphics are used to illustrate complex technology, but something about this one seems a little condesending to me. If it's supposed to appeal to actual IT managers, I think it would insult their intelligence around the subject area. Maybe it's aimed more at business executives, who need to get a better sense of what “Joe” is trying to do. Maybe this firm's products can help, but I know this much: there's more to unified communications than sticking pieces of felt on a whiteboard.
