YouTube Fridays: An IT manager as business advocate

A few years ago, the idea of putting your IT manager on camera to promote your company would have been considered insane.
That's why I like this clip, which was originally featured on the Web site of a translation company called The Geo Group. Its IT manager, in a relaxed and comfortable manner, gives a capsule history not only of his role but his educational journey (including studies in linguistics!) that led him to the firm. This is not a hard-sell sales pitch, which makes it all the more genuine. It would be interesting to see more of this kind of thing in Canada.
