Organizers of DEMO 09 said Friday the show will feature a voice to text short messaging service application for the iPhone and a wireless network of cameras that stream video to the Internet.
Produced by Guidewire CEO Chris Shipley, DEMO 09 is scheduled March 1 to 3 in Palm Desert, Calif.
Exhibitors will include Ottawa-based Xandros, whose products include Scalix, a Linux-based calendaring and messaging system, and Xandros, a Window-Linux interoperability system that was demonstrated at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Organizers said 38 new products will be demonstrated this year, including a netbook, personal e-mail assistant and a forum for sharing information side-by-side on Web pages. DEMO has been running since 1991.
