NetEx Inc., a Minneapolis maker of WAN optimization software, is offering a 10-day free trial of its HyperIP business continuity and disaster recovery application for VMware. HyperIP for VMware, which lists for US$2,000, is said by the company to support long-distance data transfers at up to 800 Mb/s. HyperIP comes as a plug-and-play appliance or a software-only configuration.
