I'm off to Vancouver for Virus Bulletin 2010 this week. As it happens, so's Catalin Cosoi. Of course, he's actually presenting a paper at the conference — he's BitDefender's senior spam and phishing researcher — whereas I'm just taking notes. But he swung by our Toronto studio earlier this week to outline what's changing about the threat landscape, and how the cloud has a role in protecting against new threats.
