Symantec Corp. is upgrading Veritas Storage Foundation.
Version 5.0 provides online storage management for different Unix operatin systems, including Sun Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX and Linux. It also includes mult-pathing, which lets managers spread I/O across multiple paths, plus dynamic storage tiering, which allows IT departments to move data to different tiers, depending on the business need.
