The Incredible IT in The Incredible Hulk

The new Hulk movie finally puts to rest (sort-of) some of the baffling questions around how the Hulk manages to keep his pants on during Hulk-outs, but it does raise some other questions around the miraculous technology employed by the film’s characters.

At one point, Bruce Banner (as played by Edward Norton) has to protect his scientific research, which he has stored on a USB stick. He swallows it. A day or so later, he jauntily throws it up again, and all the research is safe and sound, the hardware miraculously still in his stomach (instead of…um, somewhere else), unscathed by stomach acid.

At another point, Banner is on the run, and the law is after him. The Army merely uses boots up
