TelcoBridges monitor adds voice recording

TelcoBridges Inc. has released improved versions of its Tmonitornetwork monitoring software for telecom service providers. The TM2000 and TM3000 detect, filter, and record allsignaling and voice traffic, enabling developers to create networkmonitoring, lawful intercept and location-based services applications.The Boucherville, Que.-based company said the TM2000 quadruples thedata capture capacity of the TM1000 (increasing the number of HDLCcontrollers from 512 to 2048), while maintaining the ability to monitorup to 64 T1/E1/J1. The TM3000, for GSM and wireline networks, has thehigher capacity OC3/STM-1 support as well as dedicated voice-recordingcapacity. Multiple TM2000 or TM3000 devices can be clustered togetherin one or more facilities to provide unlimited scalability, the companysaid. It said Tmonitor devices impose no additional traffic or load inorder to capture pertinent data, nor do they introduce latency or alterthe stream of communications on the network.
