Social Media and Learning

Published: August 23rd, 2010
I was sent a link to a presentation by Michael Wesch at Ryerson University in June a few days ago and watched it over the weekend. It questions our approach to learning and considers how social media will impact that – I found it well worth the time it took to watch. There is a fair bit of introduction at the beginning of the presentation that you will likely want to skip over.
I am very interested in how social media will impact education and have been involved in a number of initiatives to develop this. If you have any thoughts that you'd like to share on this, please post them here.
