Canada will become the North American support hub of Alcatel-Lucent’s Genesys division, which makes contactcentre solutions for connecting enterprises to a wide range of telecomdevices. Later this year the company will open a new building in SaintJohn, N.B. that will hold technical support operations for all Tier Oneand Tier Two Genesys support in Canada and the U.S. The facility willalso include full lab and testing facilities and quality assuranceOperations for North American customers. Genesys’ Canadian customersinclude Scotiabank, Canadian Pacific and the maritimes region of thefederal department of oceans.
