BlackBerryCool has an interesting update from Rogers regarding the release of a Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) capable BlackBerry. What’s cool here is the ability to bridge voice communications between the carriers network and a WifiHot spot or internally hosted WiFi network. This is a boon to businesses that might be considering dropping the traditionally PBX and moving all their users to cellular, or even the home user who might be considering dropping their land line.
