Oracle and SAP, simulcasting Sapphire, and the invention of the satellite

This week I was a guest on sister publication ComputerWorld Canada's In Conversation video program, where colleague Kathleen Lau and I discussed last week's SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) Sapphire user conference in Orlando. Well, Kathleen made lots of learned points, and I chimed in with sarcastic commentary. Still, we disect Sapphire's key messages, examine how SAP has more in common with Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL) then they'd care to admit … and ponder who invented satellite technology.
