OMG! The Catholics want to put the Gospel on an iPod!

It could be considered the mother (or should that be the Father?) of all RFPs: A group of Catholic bishops has called on innovative followers to make use of technology to spread the Good News. This includes Internet channels, virtual distribution and even iPods. While most people might not think of them as such, the bishops call themselves early adopters:

“The nod toward technology is not unusual: The Vatican had one of Europe’s first Web sites, for example, and has always been quick to adopt new technologies,” according to a story in the Hollywood reporter.

Shark Tales is hoping this concept spreads beyond the Catholics to the Gideons as well. An iPod in every hotel desk drawer? Talk about answered prayers.
