Palo Alto, Calif.-based Hewlett-Packard Co. announced additions to its portfolio of servers, storage, software and services designed to enhance Microsoft virtualization environments. HP introduced additions to its portfolio of servers, storage, software and services including interoperability of Microsoft virtualization technologies with HP enterprise hardware and software offerings (HP ProLiant, HP BladeSystem servers, HP StorageWorks, HP Thin Client, and HP software.) Also, strategy, design, transition, operation and continual improvement services for new Microsoft virtualization technologies in HP and mixed environments. And, customized training to prepare businesses for Microsoft virtualization products and solutions. Among EMC’s offerings, there is technology support for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center Management suite. Along with that are assessment and planning services. And, EMC is announcing design services for application virtualization with Microsoft Application Virtualization and Windows Server Terminal Services implementation.
