Is your voice over IP secure?

VoIPShield Systems Inc. of Ottawa announced Wednesday its research division has discovered vulnerabilities in unified communications products including Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Office Communicator and Windows Live Messenger.

The vulnerabilities affect media stream protocols like such as Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP).

VoIPShield offers VoIPauditLite, a free trial version of VoIPaudit Enterprise, for download at this link.
It runs as a virtual appliance on any Windows or Linux PC. Users who want updates would have to subscribe to VoIPshield Update, which costs $999 per year.
