D-Link offers wireless test drive

D-Link Canada hasannounced a proggram to introduce businesses to the benefits ofwireless. Under the Wireless Test Drive program, companies will receivea D-Link DWS-3026 wireless switch and two wireless access points tobuild a wireless network within the company. After the evaluationperiod, if companies decide to keep the switch, D-Link will give themthe access points for free.

Users will also have free access to D-Link staff of sales engineers for support.

The D-3026 has combo fibre optic ports for optional 10-gigabitEthernet connection, and supports power over Ethernet. The switch has24 gigabit Ethernet ports capable of connecting to wireless accesspoints or to wired local area network devices like servers, storage andswitches.
