Coverity announces Symbian code checker

Coverity Inc. of San Francisco recently announced its Prevent software is available with a Symbian C++ version, designed to detect software defects.

Prevent now has two checkers, which tests applications built for the Symbian mobile operating system. For example, one checks the Cleanup Stack to verify that unallocated memory has exactly one owner responsible. The other verifies that naming conventions mandated by Symbian are followed properly.
