CounterPath Corp. of Vancouver has announced Bria for BroadWorks, which includes voice over IP, video and instant messaging.
BroadWorks is a voice over IP application server made byGaithersburg, Md.-based BroadSoft Inc. CounterPath developed Briathrough BroadSoft’s Xtended developer program.
Bria for BroadWords includes call control, presence and shortmessage service (SMS) and lets callers use one number for all incomingand outgoing calls, according to the vendors. Users can also see theircall history on different devices and monitor status of a workgroupthrough the BroadWorks Busy Lamp Field.
Users can call colleagues by clicking on their number in their electronic contact lists, CounterPath says.
