Tango Networks, AirWalk Communications and Tatara Systemshave announce a partnership to target the eneterprise market for fixedmobile convergence, that companies announced. The companies willdeliver an enterprise femtocell fixed mobile convergence, built onAirWalk’s EdgePoint femtocells, Tango’s Abrazo enterprise communications services and intelligent routing and Tatara’s Convergence Server.
Femtocells are small cellular base stations that improve indoorcoverage. The base stations are connected to the mobile carrier networkby a broadband connection.
The solution also features a policy engine, which can control whatusers and guests can use the network and individual features, includinglong distance networks, messaging and conferencing.
